Living in Leitrim or even nearby? Interested in volunteering or even developing working skills with Young People? Then SMILY LGBT Youth Project would like to hear from you!
SMILY LGBT Youth Project will be hosting their formal registration day for LGBT+ Youth in Leitrim on Friday, April 13th 2018, meeting to take place in Breffni FRC, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim between 5pm and 7pm.
As such they would love to hear from interested persons about helping out and volunteering with the new Youth Group to help support the LGBT+ Youth in Leitrim. Any free time you can offer to the group would help open doors for Youth Workers to get the word out to schools and other youth groups in the area.
SMILY LGBT Youth Project will offer volunteers training in the run up to any group facilitation work and you will have the support of experienced Youth Group leaders on hand. Working with Young People and with LGBT+ Young People in particular can be hugely rewarding as you get to see young people become confident and assertive individuals.
